Dan Kildee Andrew Mullin/Midland Daily News Four local projects introduced by Democratic Congressman Dan Kildee - totaling $4.5 million - were advanced by a House Appropriations subcommittee on Thursday. The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development and Food and Drug Administration introduced its fiscal year 2024 budget, including four of Kildee's community project funding requests. The four projects submitted by Kildee and included in the budget are: • $2 million to Midland County for snag and debris removal in local waterways to prevent flooding.
